"Celebrating the Goodness of God"

Music from the 70th Birthday
Gala for Helen M. Curtis

Picture
On March 27, 2010, Helen M. Curtis celebrated her 70th birthday at a gala event at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens in Ft. Worth, Texas.  It was there that hundreds of her friends and family gathered to honor her and to acknowledge the favor of God in and upon her life

To this end, her sister, composer Sylvia Rose, having been commissioned to write and produce a program to mark this special milestone in Helen's life, decided to make this favor the central focus of the celebration and wrote music that would speak to the goodness of God and Helen's immense gratitude to Him.

This CD recording is the music presented on that night.
